Gratefulness

In my deep dream
last night, I could
finally talk to birds
(I say finally there
because apparently
I had been waiting
a long time), and one
was sitting in a little
hole and speaking so
beautifully. I can't remember
ever hearing something
so beautiful.I began to cry
and when it asked me
what was wrong, I said,
"It's just so nice to
speak with you."

I like this a lot, especially for the ending. It reminds me of a dream I had where I was riding the bus and a cat sat next to me and started talking, and it was so nice to hear what the cat had to say.
Wouldn't it be wonderful! Cats would say the most marvelous things!
